Paddletails, Big Boys and Bulldawgs

The title pretty much says it all ...... just some stuff that has come out of the paint room in the last several days.

Some Misc, Stuff

Here's a few shots of several different types of swimbaits that include both deep and shallow Big Boys, some deep and shallow 8" paddletails, some Widetails, some Ribbontails and some Kalin's 10" Big'n grubs. Lots of different bait styles and colors.

Castiac Swimming Cisco's

Here's 3 Castiac Swimming Cisco's that I painted recently. The top one was done in the very popular Dr. Carp color. The center one is a custom cisco color and the bottom one is a silver shad.
It's always cool to do some paint work on different types of baits. I do so many Bulldawgs, Medussa's and my swimbaits that these three were a welcome change of pace.

Back At It

I'm back in the shop after being away for a week or so and things have been piling up while I was gone. Here's a stack of Bulldawgs awaiting their turn to go through the paint booth.

More Custom Paint

Here's some 8" & 6" Kickin Minnows along with a couple Miracle Minnows I did recently for a friend.
The colors are Hot Dr. Carp, Tiger Musky, Black Crappie, Sucker and Large Mouth Bass.

Random Stuff

I haven't posted anything for awhile so here's some photos of several different baits the have made their way through the paint room lately.
Some are finished and some still need hooks and rigging.

Some Different colors & Different Shapes

The first photo is of a couple new colors that I did on some Shallow big Boy Swimbaits, Color names ??? maybe the left one could be called Green Tiger or maybe Green Perch and the right one ?? Green Shad or possibly Lemon Lime Shad. Not sure what to call them yet but I really liked how the colors turned out on them.

Paint from this Past Week

Here's 15 different colors of Widetail swimbaits that I painted this past week.
Some of these are standard colors that you've seen before but there are several new ones.

Some 2011 Muskies

Here's a couple photos of my buddy Joe and 2 nice early season muskies he caught awhile back. One is 40" and the other is 45", both came on some Storm Kick'in Minnows I had painted for him.
The last pic is of Joe's baits just before I shipped them back to him......I'd bet... that some of them have some teeth marks in them now........but that's a good thing.
..I love the markings on both of those fish.
