Another Medussa, this one is in a Iridescent Tennessee Shad.

New Colors On Two Hellhounds

Two Hellhounds fresh from the paint room. This is the first time I have put these colors on on a Hellhound.
The one on the left is a Orange Barred Sucker and the one on the right is a Natural Barred Sucker.
After some time to let the paint cure they will get their epoxy finish.

A Small Family

A 5", 6", 8" paddletail swimbaits and a Big Boy swimbait in the new Crazy Northern Lights color.
This is a pretty new color pattern but it has received lots of interest from the folks that have seen it.
I hope the will fish like it as much as the fishermen do.
Time will tell.

Two 9" Super Swimmers

A couple Super Swimmers finished up and ready to go.
The first one is in the Dr.Carp color and the other is a new color called Orange Sucker.
9" from tip of nose to tip of the tail.
Weight is 4.25 ounces (121.7 grams)

Hellhound

A bright new color on a Hellhound.

One of my friends named this color Crazy Northern Lights.

I just about had to wear sunglasses to work on this one. LOL

A Few Paddletail Swimbaits

A few I finished today.

A dozen 5" in the colors of Coward, un-named color, Island Special and Fish Food

Five in the 6" size, 2 in the Island Special, one White with Red Head and 2 in the Psycho Firetiger.

Some Hardbaits

A half dozen new ones waiting for their first coat of epoxy, which will go on this afternoon.

2 Hellhounds, The left one is in a new color called Crazy Northern Lights and the right one is in one of my field tester's inspired color he calls Upside Down Firetiger.

The 2 in the center are the front parts of what will be a long tail swimbait when finished and they both are in the very popular Dr. Carp color.

The 2 swimmers in the right of the photo are 9" Super Swimmers, they are very, very similar to a Sebile Magic Swimmer, in both size and action. The left one is painted in a new orange sucker color and the right one is a Dr.Carp. While most folks fish these with a straight swimming retrieve, these are a real sleeper when used as a twitch bait. Just by different rod manipulations they can be made to have a side to side walk much like a gliding jerkbait, a random go any where action like a soft plastic twitch bait or on a pull and pause retrieve they swim along and when you pause they turn almost around backwards and suspend momentarily before slowly starting to sink. That turn around on the pause,is a very good trigger on following fish, it's like they turn around to see what is about to eat them.

Dawg Painting Completed

I finished painting up the batch of Magnum Bulldawgs yesterday.
Before starting the paint work I cut recesses in the big bulge they call eyes and after the paint and clear was cured, I installed some 5/8" prism 3-D eyes.
I think that they turned out pretty nice and wouldn't mind having this color assortment in my arsenal of big plastic. It's a pretty good selection with 3 natural colors and a couple bright colors and should cover most all water conditions your likely to face.
All that's left to do to them is to put the hooks and split rings back on them then it's on to the next project

Mag Dawgs

A few Dawgs I'm just getting started on. These are a nice change of pace for me as I was getting tired of painting the same old thing, over and over. When finished the colors will be (from the left) Cisco, Chartreuse Shiner, Brass Sucker, Retro Perch and Dr. Carp.

Medussa Finished

Here's how the latest Medussa looked after I finished putting it back together.
All it needs now is to have the hooks sharpened and the water to thaw out so it can see some leader time.
