One of my friends, his name is Erik Walmann, has a blog that always has a handle on the biggest bite of pike, perch, walleye and after reading today's post, also big carp, in both Norway and Sweden. He posts a lot of photos of lures from some of the finest baitmakers, not only from his country but all around the world. I have had the privilege of talking to him via email for some time and his opinions and theories on how to catch their large pike has been really been enlightening. I have been able to relate some of his Pike techniques and lures into my musky fishing, he does things that are a little different than what the majority of musky fishermen in this country do. He also conducts many competitions requiring folks to send in photos of their catch. On his blog you will see many great fish photos, lots of baits, some of which are very unique to their part of the world and you just might learn a new technique or too.
He posts to his blog daily and many days, several times daily so there is always something new and interesting to read.

There is a google translate gadget on the left side of the page, if you scroll down about half way. It will translate enough of it that you can understand what he is talking about.
