A Few More Custom Bondys

Here's a few more custom Bondys that I painted recently.

These were done at the request of a couple local friends.

There are some rather unique colors in this batch. Colors I doubt have ever been put on a Bondy bait before.

Big Pike

Here's a photo of my friend Antti Kiuru with his new personal best pike. 

This fish was 119cm (46.8 ")  and 12.35kg (27.2 lbs)

Antti is a great angler from Finland

Antti caught this fish on a 12" Curl Tail Shad. This is the largest pike reported so far on this new bait.

The first style 

The Original Bondy Bait.
7.5", 7 oz

The second style is Hot Orba
5.5", 5.6 oz

The new bait from Bondy Bait Co...The Hot Orba. This bait is made for slow rolling down long points in southern reservoirs, open water casting over offshore structure on pelagic prey lakes, down deep drop offs and along weed edges just about anywhere. Featuring trademark Bondy Bait Co. quality with thumping #8 Colorado blades, stainless wire, tough split rings and Mustad hooks.

The third style is the Wobbler

8", 9 oz. 

The newest bait from the Bondy Bait Company is the Wobbler. The special part about this one is that it wobbles really hard on a slow drop. It will actually shake the rod tip as it falls. In testing, it was beating out the Original Bondy when jigging head to head!

Nice Assortment

A few colors from this week that are awaiting their hardware and packaging for their trip across the pond.

Big Pike

Here's a photo of my friend Jyri Kuusisalo with a very nice pike.
Jyri lives in Finland and fishes some of the great waters there.
 This fish weighed 11.85 kg (26 pounds, 2 ounces).
 He took this fish on a motor oil colored 9" shad.

A Few From This Week

Not everything I do is posted on my blog ..... but,  I do try to post something every week just so you folks know I am doing something.

Here's some for this week....... a few Big Boys and Brute Paddle tails fresh from the paint room.

After the paint cures completely they will be fitted with their hooks and split rings before being boxed up and sent on their way.

A New Version of Tail

Here is a couple photos of the new hand dipped tail.

These were molded on a Mustad 3/0 hook and they are the first ones out of the shop.

The colors are  as follows

(top photo, top row)  -  Firetiger

(top photo, middle row)  -  Hot Cisco

(top photo, bottom row)  -   Green sucker/perch

(bottom photo, top row)  -    Brown sucker/perch

(bottom photo, bottom row)  -  Walleye   

At this time these hand dipped tails are only available from Musky Tackle Online.
