Coming Soon .... Hopefully

Here is a few pics of a new hybrid pull bait that a friend and I have been working on for awhile.
This fellow runs Musky Chimes Bait Worx,
which makes some very realistic looking twitch baits and jerk baits.
Every piece that he makes is hard carved so each one is one of a kind and unique.
This uniqueness gives each bait a personality that's not found in today's mass produced, assembly line baits.

This one is a prototype of a sucker that I'm using for testing while developing tails.

When these become available there will be several different fish species offered.
Along with the sucker, there are plans for a shad and a perch...and hopefully a few more.

As for tails .... in addition to the single wide tail shown,  we plan to have a paddle tail option, a single narrow tail and and a few different multi-tail versions.

These will feature a hand carved wood front section paired
with a custom hand poured, replaceable tail section.

Unlike most other hybrid baits that are available,
these will feature both the front and back parts painted to match.

This one is mine and I'm still testing different tails so I did not take the time to paint this tail.
If you look close, you can see where I've actually cut on this tail,
in an effort to make if fit the body a little better
......all part of the testing process

This particular one is about 12" long
however there are plans to make some of the production models bigger.

There is no scheduled date for release for online sales yet....
however there will be a limited number of these available at the upcoming
 Wisconsin Musky Expo.
This show is in Wausau, Wisconsin and runs from Feb 28th to March 2nd, 2014
if you are lucky enough to get to this show stop by and say Hi to Josh,
tell him that Jeff sent you....I don't think he'll charge you any extra for that.
As soon as we get some ready for online sales, I'll post it here on my blog.
 so stay tuned.

A Taste Of Spring

Here's a few photos of the goldfish in my wife's ornamental pond.
These fish seem to enjoying the sunshine since all the the ice has melted.
They have been living in the dark, under the ice and snow for better than a month so I'd bet they are as happy as I am to see the warmer temps....even if it is just for a short time.
