A few friends and I were in Canada last week helping a buddy get his camp ready to open for the season. Here's a few photos of a couple friends who took a little time off from work to try for some Lake Trout. They managed to catch about 7 or 8 of them in the short time they had to fish. These pics are of the smaller "eating" sized fish that they caught.I took a couple hours one evening and went out to try to catch some pike. The wind picked up while I was out and shortened my trip but I did manage to catch a couple small pike and a couple smallmouth bass.
I look forward to getting back there in a couple months when the Musky season is open. That trip will be all about fishing and not so much work.
